MBBS Admission in Karnataka

MBBS admission in Karnataka is done on the basis of marks secured in the NEET exam. Candidates who have qualified the NEET exam with the required marks and fulfil the other eligibility criteria set by the National Medical Commission (NMC) are eligible to apply for MBBS admission in Karnataka.
The MBBS admission process in Karnataka generally starts in the month of June and the classes commence from August. The MBBS course duration in Karnataka is 4.5 years, followed by 1 year of mandatory internship.
Eligible candidates can apply for MBBS admission in Karnataka through the online application portal of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their marks in NEET and preference given by them while filling the application form.
